Want to Help?
A small team of St. Richard parishioners who provide confidential, person-to-person support to those in the Manheim community who are in need of help. Our goal is to aid our brothers and sisters in reestablishing their own self-sufficiency after careful analysis of the circumstances in which they find themselves.
- We provide confidential, person-to-person support, including determination of “root causes” for the current circumstances in which someone finds himself or herself.
- We offer limited, temporary financial assistance upon review of a person’s current financial situation, with the intent of establishing a plan by which his or her self-sufficiency can be reestablished.
- We collaborate with medical or social services organizations, government agencies, and business people in addressing those factors which negatively affect a person’s ability to be self-reliant.
- We provide assistance with food and transportation under certain circumstances.
